I just wanted to let you all in on some of my inspirations and background. When I was 8 yrs old I got a cheap little keyboard with like 20 tones and a drum pad...and ever since that day I've been making music. I was sixteen when I saved up and bought my first guitar...I was inspired to learn how to play by hit bands at the time like Blink 182, Lit, Foo Fighters, Sugarcult, Third Eye Blind, Matchbox 20, just to name a few. I never had formal lessons, taught myself everything by playing along with my favorite bands and just having fun.
The fun and games are over and I'm more serious than I've ever been about my music. I'm dedicating this summer to completing my first album.
My goal with my music is to have the same effect on others as music did on me. If I can create a track that even one person can relate to, or a sound that would inspire many, I've succeeded. Thanks for taking the time to read this! Check out my music page here: www.myspace.com/kevinaa211984
